Scandinavian Medical Solutions supplies used and refurbished PET/CT scanners from Siemens, GE, Philips, and Canon (Toshiba). Pricing depends on ring count, slice count, detector configuration, tube type and tube count, YOM, and installed software licences — so each system is quoted individually. Evaluating a Pre-Owned
PET/CT System Detector configuration. Ring count and axial FOV determine throughput and sensitivity. A 4-ring, 64-slice Biograph mCT handles high-volume oncology and cardiac work; a 3-ring, 16-slice system is often sufficient for standard oncology throughput at a lower acquisition cost.
- Tube condition. We state tube YOM and tube count (seconds or mAs at dismantling) for every system, so remaining tube life can be weighed against price up front.
- Software and licences. Reconstruction packages and application licences are not always transferable between sites. We confirm what is included before contract.
- De-installation and availability. Systems are listed with expected availability dates. We handle de-installation, rigging, and shipping.
- Quality Assurance and Support Every system is quality-checked, and a QA report is available for review during evaluation. We also supply PET/CT spare parts and rental solutions if you need to bridge capacity during installation.
